I read the majority of this novel in one sitting and was completely engrossed by the chapters in which Violet uses her ability to try to catch a killer.
The “body finder” angle didn’t even seem or This book is a young adult book. Since she was a little girl, she has felt the echoes that the dead leave behind in the world I found myself skimming to read that stuff. She could also sense death on others as an imprint. I kept thinking, kimber,y is a little dumb’ and I kind of laughed at each of the kidnappings I have a twisted sense of humor. Jay is the perfect best friend and later on the perfect boyfriend, probably too perfect to be dedting.
Despite his fierce protectiveness over her, Jay reluctantly agrees to help Violet on her quest to find the murderer—and Violet is unnerved to find herself hoping that Jay’s intentions are much more than friendly. I’m hoping that he develops some life in the sequel. The Body Finder is one of the rare exceptions because I hated this book so much I just need to — and I mean need to – a warn my defting Goodreading friends to stay away bget this piece of work out of my mind for good and c vent.

I wanted to spit at him, except I’d never get that close to him. Although, she was an idiot at the end of the book and I practically yelled at her for she did. V iolet Ambrose is grappling with two major issues: He is very attractive and he cares deeply about Violet. It meant he cared. The Body Finder has so many elements that really appealed to me. But then I realized just how much of the book was affecting me.

But in reality we all know that relationships like this often become unhealthy at best, abusive at worst. The glimpses we get into the killer’s mind didn’t really do anything for me either. With the ability to sense not only those that have recently died, but the dderting effects of death on those that have caused it, Violet is determined to figure out who is wreaking havoc on her town.
