This book was exciting, sexy, hilarious, tense, and everything in between. In this book Granuaile pouts and gives Atticus the silent treatment for about 2 chapters before coming clean with what’s bothering her. But Hearne is taking it all just a bit too far.

It’s clear that the author is just not going ther As usual, this was exciting book, full of interesting action and unexpected twists but I got mad by the way the business with Atticus and Granuaile got resolved. The pedo vibes going on in this book are the least of it. I wish Hearne would scrap this series, and try his luck with something a bit more serious and substantial.


Books In This Series 9 Books. She will never feed you Brussel Sprouts, when she could feed you steak! And do not even get me started about little miss perfect, Granuaile. The pacing is fast and frantic, with non-stop mythical monster and god fighting action interspaced with witty banter and trips to fantastic mythical planes.

I’d hoped Kevin Hearne would be different, but no, slowly over the last 2 books, he’s made Atticus his “Marty Stu”. Granuaile finally gets to shine! Atticus and Granuaile are coming out of the year fade from the end of the last book. So what did I not like about Trapped?

More than a decade passed. Because if the villain was ever in the right, or had emotions, and if the Levin ever did anything but be correct, that might mean his characters weren’t perfect. He went on the attack against them and destroyed much of their world unprovoked.
