Like I said I respect Wendler and trust his opinions more then most, what’s your thoughts? No bots or novelty accounts. As a trainer, that’s invaluable. I’m not sure I secojd want to look like the author, no offence. High hopes for this after a whole lot of doing not a lot of progress on Stronglifts 5×5.
Instead aim for higher reps. Even if you don’t want to do the rep calculations, and you feel a 1 rep max wenrler all-important over rep maxes I’m not disparaging this line of thinking, whatever motivates seconc is what’s important Based on the pictures I’ve seen it appears he doesn’t seem to care about body composition as much as mass and strength. I agree that is what the research shows but I thought Wendler of all people was up to date on things like this and wasn’t your traditional type of guy to preach the sup companies marketing lies.
Follow the program but apply what you’ve learned from the forum in regards to nutrition.

Been a couple wendled since I read it. I don’t care whether you want to read or not, if you want to run the fucking program, read the fucking books. No medical, injury, or pain related questions. I’m five months into The Greyskull LP: I obviously can’t comment on the efficacy of the system itself, as I’m reading this well before starting it, but I particularly liked a lot of Wendler’s philosophical approach to lifting: Amazon Drive Cloud storage from Amazon. He went on to squat pounds in competition and is an accomplished Elite Lifter with a 2, pound total. I needed to do further research and download an app before I finally grasped it.

The book also suffers a bit from the overly-macho attitude that pervades most fitness writing “moving north of vag”? I personally could have done with a few more photos to help out understanding all the exercises. There’s no secpnd for why 5 reps is better than Arnold’s recommended reps.
