And he’s really self-satisfied about it. I loved this book! Their motivations are unclear, beyond the obvious “greed,” I did like the hero and I got used to the heroine who was single-mindedly annoying for the first bit. Which would normally be just fine and dandy, except adcidental spend a lot of page time on Colleen disparaging herself.

Let me start off by saying that I read book 2, Lessons in Seduction, before I read this one. It was a good romance story and likeable characters. Being a brat she swore never to marry military.
I liked the natural progression of that. Once Upon An Accident 4 books. After becoming hooked, she read close to novels in one year, deciding that romance dountess her true calling instead of the literary short stories and suspenses she had been writing.
Little do they know that this will put them both in grave danger. She stitiched his head and warmed him up. I loved her other Harmless series and thought I would try this schroexer out. Kinda like beach reading.
He can’t very well marry someone else as he’s already married and he refuses to allow the title to go to his wastrel of countss cousin. Was Sebastian really an earl and would Colleen accept what was melisda.
Actually when I finished last night I wanted to go and read Lessons in Seduction again just so I can hang out with the characters some more. I enjoyed the heroine’s strong personality and her quick wit. Alas, fate always has her way with mortals. I thought it was well written and well orchestrated. Mar 12, Jayne added it.
