A Little Too Far
Even though I wanted to strangle her with her hair and toss her into a river for leading my poor baby on, at the end she had her epiphany, and made her ultimate decision. He is a good listener. It made everything that much more intense, and explosive. I am sorry but that does not make sense. There was a definite shocking moment here. I instantly fell for him. The plot deals with Hilary and her off-Broadway experiences, as well as Hilary and Alessandro’s rekindling relationship. When I read the synopsis for this book, I got excited, because of the element of forbidden romance. This was one of those rare moments when I actually paid attention first to the summary. He gets into your soul.
After he met Lexie, and realized that he was not meant for the priesthood, he decided to seek out Hilary, the first girl he had ever loved, and the person from his past that haunted him the most. Worse still is when she goes home for Christmas and sees the two together.
But much like the whole thing with Trent, Lexie finds herself mired in another relationship where the guy is or should be off limits to her. Trent wrote and sang songs for Lexie. He turned from sexy-sweet to way too self-depreciating and guilt-ridden.

With a cherry on top, we lithle a HEA and a sneak peek at book 2! Lexie, tho I wanted to throttle her sometimes, is a very down-to-earth character who realizes that the world doesn’t revolve around her.

Step-brother and to-be priest, not exactly simple choice. But is Lexi still in love with Trent or did Trent move on with someone else? I know it was written there but I didn’t connect to it.
I miss every part of him.
